Day 1Fes - Ifrane - The Middle Atlas Mountains

After breakfast, we depart from Fes and drive through the charming city of Ifrane, also known as “Little Switzerland” due to its European-like architecture. From there, we head toward Azrou, where the famous wild monkeys of Morocco roam freely in the cedar forests. This offers the perfect opportunity for capturing Morocco’s natural beauty on camera. Continuing our journey, we stop in Zaida for a traditional Berber lunch. Afterward, we make our way through the Atlas Mountains, passing through Medilt and the picturesque village of Rich. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the Toudra Gorges, where the towering cliffs and crystal-clear waters create a serene atmosphere for a brief exploration before settling in for the night.

Day 2Merzouga - Erfoud - Camel Ride & Night in the Desert

After breakfast, we begin our journey to Merzouga, passing through several small Berber towns. As we venture closer to the Sahara, we start to see the beginning of the Tafilalet oasis. Our route takes us through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud before we reach Merzouga, where we rest and prepare for an unforgettable experience. After a break, we embark on a camel ride through the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Riding camels across the tranquil Sahara is an experience like no other. You’ll have the opportunity to try sandboarding and witness the spectacular sunset over the dunes. As night falls, the Berbers will set up a traditional camp, where we enjoy a meal and Berber drumming under the stars, making for an authentic desert experience.

Day 3: Visit Merzouga - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Fes

We wake early to watch the sunrise over the golden sands of the Sahara, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After freshening up and enjoying a hearty breakfast, we begin our journey back to Fes. Along the way, we stop to visit Rissani, the historic city and birthplace of the Moroccan ruling family. We then continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and dramatic landscapes. After a stop for lunch in Midelt, a charming village located at the foot of Jbel Ayachi, we continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains before finally arriving in Fes in the late afternoon, marking the end of our three-day adventure.
