    Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in M’hamid El Ghezlane

Your journey begins with a drive from Marrakech or Ouarzazate to the charming desert hamlet of M’hamid El Ghezlane, the gateway to the Moroccan Sahara. For those traveling by private vehicle, enjoy a comfortable ride with scenic views of the changing landscapes, from verdant valleys to arid desert terrain. Alternatively, opt for the national CTM bus for a more budget-friendly option, arriving in the evening after a 10-hour journey from Marrakech.
Once in M’hamid, settle into a traditional guesthouse for the night. Here, you’ll be greeted with warm hospitality and have time to relax, enjoy a local meal, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Trekking and Wild Camping

After a hearty breakfast at the guesthouse, meet your experienced desert guide and begin your trek into the mesmerizing dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Depart around 8:30 a.m. and either walk or ride a camel, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the desert. The trek covers 5–6 hours, with a relaxing break midday to enjoy lunch in the shade of Tamarisk trees.
By late afternoon, arrive at a remote spot chosen for its beauty and serenity, far from any settlements. Here, your guide will set up a wild camp. Spend the evening under the expansive desert sky, marveling at the stars, sharing stories around the campfire, and enjoying a freshly prepared meal.

Day 3: Trekking and Return to M’hamid

Wake up to the breathtaking sight of the sun rising over the dunes and enjoy a simple breakfast before continuing your trek. The day includes another 5–6 hours of walking or camel riding, giving you time to fully absorb the magical silence and beauty of the desert.
Return to M’hamid El Ghezlane in the late afternoon, where you’ll spend your final night at the same guesthouse. Refresh and relax before beginning your journey back the following day.
Depending on your travel preferences, leave M’hamid by the early morning CTM bus (departing at 6:00 a.m.) or opt for a private vehicle transfer for a more flexible departure time. The return trip to Marrakech takes approximately 10 hours, while the journey to Ouarzazate is shorter.

This carefully designed plan ensures a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion, making your three-day desert journey an unforgettable experience.
