    Overview:

    This multi day Morocco tour takes you from Rabat to Marrakech through the countrys most iconic cities, mountains, gorges, and desert landscapes. Discover the rich history of Fes with a guided city tour, then travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue south to the dramatic Todra Gorges before reaching the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel trek, sunset views over the dunes, and an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp. The journey continues through Rissani, desert valleys, and scenic mountain roads, crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech, where the tour ends with a hotel drop off.

    Itinerary

    Day 1: Rabat to Fes Guided City Tour

    Departure from Rabat in the morning toward Fes. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a guided tour of Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Explore the ancient Medina of Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, traditional tanneries, and local souks. After the tour, transfer to your riad or hotel for overnight in Fes.

     

    Day 2:Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Desert

    After breakfast, depart Fes toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the Little Switzerland of Morocco, then continue to the cedar forests of Azrou to see the wild Barbary monkeys. Drive through beautiful Atlas landscapes, passing Zaida for lunch and continuing via Midelt and Rich. In the late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy the desert atmosphere and spend the night in Merzouga, with accommodation in a hotel or desert camp near the dunes.

     

    Day 3:Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

    We will wake up early and head to a local hotel where you can freshen up and enjoy a complimentary breakfast before continuing the journey toward Ouarzazate. On the way, we will travel through Erfoud and Rissani, known for their fossils, date palms, and traditional markets, then pass through authentic Berber villages and visit the impressive Todra and Dades Gorges. In the Dades Gorge area, we will stop at a local hotel for the night, where you will enjoy a complimentary dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

     

    Day 4:Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

    After breakfast, we will continue the journey toward Ouarzazate along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, with a stop in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, well known for its annual Rose Festival. We then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular ksar famous as a filming location for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, as well as the TV series Game of Thrones.

    After the visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka Pass and continue to Marrakech. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel in Marrakech, marking the end of the tour.
